Mission School

Values that guide the school
-
Faith – we fully trust in God for all things (Hb 11:6)
-
Love – we always consider others above ourselves (Jn 13:34 and 1 Co 13:2-3)
-
Honor – we value each person for who they are, not for what they do (1 Pt 2:17)
-
Service – we do everything for the Lord (Col 3:23)
-
Anticlericalism – we are all brothers (Mt 23.8)
These values are part of the daily routine, teaching, and social interaction at the base.
We believe that…
-
Jesus is the only way to God, and without Him we can do nothing.
-
The Holy Spirit is a person and God, who expresses himself powerfully and in various ways.
-
All men are born with a sinful nature and need salvation through faith in the work of Jesus on the cross.
-
The New Covenant was fulfilled by Jesus, and He is sufficient to supply all our physical, material, and spiritual needs.
-
God is good, and no evil can come from Him.
-
All Christians can and should manifest God's supernatural power through miracles, signs, and wonders. (Jn 14:12)

What is it?
The School of Missions is a 12-week biblical and missionary training center held at the BKK Missions Base in northeastern Brazil.
The program combines theoretical teaching and daily practice, preparing people to live the Gospel in a concrete way—in service, in relationships with people, and in mission.
The theoretical content covers topics such as faith, love, the new covenant, healing, miracles, the Christian life, among others.
Practical activities take place in projects run by BKK Missions and its partners, involving work with children and adults, social outreach, evangelism, and various other programs, in addition to the daily routine of the missionary base.

The reason we decided to establish two distinct values — one for Brazilians and another for foreigners — is quite simple. In Brazil, the minimum wage for a work week exceeding 40 hours is approximately 250 euros gross per month. Furthermore, domestic airfare has become so expensive that, in many cases, it is cheaper to fly from São Paulo to Miami than from southern Brazil to Teresina.
Given this reality, for Brazilians, attending school represents a great sacrifice. We believe that the principle presented by Paul in 2 Corinthians 8:13–14 remains fully applicable today:
"Not that your contribution should make life easier for others and harder for you. I simply mean that there should be equality. Right now, you have plenty and can help those in need. At another time, they will have plenty and will be able to share with you when necessary. Thus, there will be equality."
We understand that school will require different sacrifices from each student. Even so, this decision aligns with our values: caring for our brothers and sisters who live in a developing country like Brazil.
FAQ
Yes, under the following conditions:
a) All must be over 18 years of age and enrolled as students;
b) They stay in separate accommodations (male and female).
Yes, but outside of class hours and practical activities.
Citizens of more than 60 countries need a visa to enter Brazil. To find out if this applies to you, please check the updated list on the Itamaraty website or at consulates, as the requirement depends on nationality and the purpose of the trip. Currently, foreigners can stay in Brazil as tourists for up to 90 days, with the possibility of extension for another 90 days, counted from the first entry.
No, the visa and any other documentation required for the foreign student's stay in the country, including the expenses related to obtaining it, are the sole responsibility of the student.
The Mission School lasts 12 weeks. At the end of this period, the student may request an extension of their stay at the Mission Base, subject to availability, project needs, and approval from the board. The extension is not automatic and will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis. If the extension is approved, the student will be responsible for covering their own costs during the extension period.
The values related to retention are defined quarterly and may vary according to the period and conditions of the base.No. The Mission School has several teachers who teach classes throughout the program. Reinhard participates in the school, but does not teach all the classes. However, much of the material used in the program was developed by him, reflecting the theological, practical, and spiritual foundation that guides the School.
No. We believe that, in the New Covenant, mission is not restricted to a specific group, but is part of the life of every Christian. The Mission School exists both for those already working in missionary contexts and for those who wish to learn to live their faith practically, wherever they may be.
Yes. To participate in the Mission School, the student must be 18 years old at the start of the program.
You don't need to be a formal member of a specific church to participate in the Mission School. However, applicants are expected to have an active Christian faith and be willing to live in an environment of discipleship, fellowship, and Christian practice.
We do not require a formal pastoral recommendation. However, during the selection process, we request a letter of recommendation from a trusted individual who can speak about the candidate's character, maturity, and life experience.
We understand that all Christians are called—not just to a specific ministry, but to live according to the Gospel. It is for everyone who wants to live the Christian life in practice.
